Schöner leben ohne Nazis (Living better without Nazis)
at the place of diversity Marzahn-Hellersdorf
On September 1, 2018, the democracy festival "Schöner leben ohne Nazis" will take place on Alice-Salomon-Platz for the tenth time.
"Schöner leben ohne Nazis", initiated by various parties and associations, was first held 10 years ago. Since then, the network has expanded steadily. In total, more than 40 institutions, mostly from the district, will participate on stage or at stands this year.
In view of the current election results, nationalist and racist tendencies, especially in our district, it is all the more remarkable that this event lives from a broad voluntary commitment that is organized and implemented with much love by citizens of this district.
Schöner leben ohne Nazis am Ort der Vielfalt Marzahn-Hellersdorf" presents various democratic actors (e.g. associations, initiatives, parties, offices, trade unions, religious communities) who have actively committed themselves to the goal of setting a visible sign against exclusion, right-wing extremism and any form of hostility towards groups.
At the festival, the actors will present themselves with information stands and campaigns for people of all ages. There are games and handicrafts for the little ones, quizzes and sports for young people, information and exhibitions for the elderly.
