Which districts are funding the trips?

We are not a travel agency and the prices funded by different districts. This is reflected in the prices. With the revision of the Youth Promotion and Participation Act in March 2019, the Senate has strongly increased the funds for youth work in Berlin and especially for recreational measures. Therefore, all districts fund vacation trips. But they do so in different ways.

Several fund participation in our trips. We are in discussion with others. The number of participants per district is limited. Please refer to the overview to see if there are free places available in your district:

  • Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg: Free places
  • Lichtenberg: Free places
  • Marzahn-Hellersdorf: Free places
  • Neukölln: Free places
  • Tempelhof-Schöneberg: Free places
  • Treptow-Köpenick: Free places
  • Steglitz-Zehlendorf: Free places
  • Pankow: No agreement yet*
  • Reinickendorf: No agreement yet*
  • Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf: Not funded
  • Mitte: Not funded
  • Spandau: Not funded

* The responsible Youth Welfare Office is in talks with us with the aim of obtaining funding.

If your child does not come from one of these districts, no funding will be provided and you will have to cover the entire cost of the vacation trip yourself. If you would still like to send your child on a vacation trip with us, please contact us by mail.

Price reduction

The Roter Baum would like to offer an additional price reduction to particularly low-income families. Those who can show a valid Berlin Pass will receive an additional 50% discount on the total price.
Here you can find out who is entitled to the Berlin Pass and how to apply for it. When registering your child, please send us a current copy of the valid Berlin Pass or, alternatively, a current Alg2 notification.

Accordingly, 2 participation fees are shown for all trips:

Regular:
If your child comes from one of the above-mentioned districts, you only have to pay a small part of the actual costs thanks to the Youth Promotion and Participation Act. Proof is provided by stating the child's (official) place of residence. If this is in one of the districts, the funding automatically applies.

Berlinpass or ALG2 proof:
If your child comes from one of the above-mentioned districts and you can also show a valid Berlin Pass or current ALG2 proof, you will receive an additional 50% discount.
The proof results from the indication of the (official) residence of the child & a copy of the above mentioned document.

In case of financing problems, please contact us and we will find a solution together.
